The vision of Gabil Agro is to take the agro products of Garo Hills and introduce it to the world through packaging solution, extensive marketing techniques and proper processing of the agro products. It is also developing new products like chocolate cashews , hemp coated chocolate cashew (CBD oil based), salted cashew and cashew butter

Start-up Idea

Rejaul started the project in 2017 and took him a year to collect all the relevant documents needed for a cashew processing unit. In 2018, he started the activities with a loan through PMEGP. But it was towards the end of 2019 that he saw the potential of other agriproducts in Garo Hills and established Gabil Agro Industries. It also won the E-Champ award from Meghalaya government.

The enterprise is supported by Garo Hills Development Foundation, an NGO based in Garo Hills; B R Industries; Le Organica (developing new products like chocolate cashews , hemp coated chocolate cashew (CBD oil based), salted cashew and cashew butter) and Prime Startup Hub
