Dr. Baruah has 32 years of work experience in field of Management Education and in Small and Medium Enterprise Development with thrust on Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Promotion. She also has extensive experience in action research and implementing multi-state large projects on livelihood development specifically in the North Eastern Region of India. Dr. Baruah represented NE India in various international forums and lead Business Delegations delegations globally. Dr. Baruah was Invited as a speaker from India to speak on Indian experience on SME development at the Annual Entrepreneurial Summit in Medellin (Colombia) in May 2011.She also presented a paper on SME cluster promotion in North East India at an international conference held in Malaysia by Asian Council for Small Business (ACSB) in 2015. Presently working as Head (Centre for Industrial Extension) and Sr. Faculty at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship. She has been spearheading the start-up initiatives of IIE.

Mr. Karma Bhutia is an Entrepreneur, Speaker, Mentor, and a StartUp Enthusiast with an interest in Data Science, (ML, AI) & Robotics. He is currently working as a Mentor at Sikkim Manipal University Technology Business Incubator and Faster Capital, a venture capital fund based in Dubai.
Mr. Bhutia is the founder of Demi, iShippo, NiKo.ai and co-founder of Gotem.io, a crypto asset start-up based in Taiwan. He also co-founded SourceN – a successful software consulting firm based in Bangalore and San Francisco, California which in 2015 was acquired by HolidayIQ & Qwikcilver. Karma has various patents to his name & was featured by Forbes in 2016. He is a recipient of “NICT” award for innovation & outstanding contribution in Information Technology in 2013. Ochintya Sharma

Consultant and Former Vice-President at Samsung R&D India

Mr. Ochintya Sharma has thirty-two years of Technology and Management experience in the domains of Wireless Communications, Mobile Internet, GPS, Smartphone Platforms, Multi-Media, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. He is a Chevening Rolls-Royce Science and Innovation Leadership Fellow, University of Oxford.
His corporate experiences spans both large corporates and high-tech start-ups. He has been the Vice-President at Samsung R&D India, headed Binatone’s global engineering team across 5 countries and led the Mobile Internet Business Unit at Motorola India. He has also led two technology start-ups: TrueSpan Semiconductors and Hubble Connected. He is now working as an independent consultant in multiple areas of business strategy and technology development.
Mr. Sharma is passionate about motivating the next generation in making an impact through creative problem solving and social intelligence. He loves working on nurturing scientific temper among school children.

Mr. Rajeev Agarwal

He is the Vice President and also a successful entrepreneur. He is the Founder, CEO of Bitchem Asphalt Pvt Ltd. and Director SM Group India. Currently a clean-tech entrepreneur focusing on air pollution challenges emitting from road construction activities. Self-competing and aspiring individual constantly working on exploiting his strengths for letting the team make ambitious leaps and achieve for organization's goals. Bitchem is one such example which is growing organically as a zero-pollution road construction technology venture in the highly regulated and challenging construction sector in the country. He built Up the Business Model of Bitchem from scratch. Created new product category in the market. Developed pollution-free road construction solutions in collaborative Scale up with CSIR-CRRI. The product is called CRRI-Bitchem Cold Mix Technology which is 90 percent energy-efficient and saves 1,500-4000 liters of fuel per km of construction. He continues to be an entrepreneur who never gives up, handle challenges by leading through example.

B. K. Sohliya

Director of the Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship (MIE)

B.K. Sohliya is the Director of the Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship (MIE), Government of Meghalaya. He has 26 years of research and developmental experience in both farm and nonfarm sectors. He is also credited of working closely with people right from small and marginal farmers in the remotest parts of the State to high end entrepreneurs and startups across varied fields like high value horticulture, livestock, dairy, sericulture & weaving, processing, apiculture, manufacturing etc.
In his five years with the MIE, B.K. Sohliya led a team of young professionals that have transformed the institute from an enterprise training and capacity building entity to that of a support and programme management agency for various natural resource based Missions of the Government of Meghalaya. Central to his functions however is still the incubation and facilitation for budding entrepreneurs, development of ecosystem services around them, linking such enterprises to markets while also acting as an interface between such enterprises and the Government.
B.K. Sohliya is also on the Board of Directors of the Meghaloom, the Meghalaya State Fishery Cooperative Federation and is an active member of various departmental committees of Cooperation, Agriculture / Horticulture, Sericulture, AH & Vety, MECOFED, Commerce & Industries, Planning etc. He has also represented Meghalaya and participated in various international events and was a resource person for various state and national institutions like SIRD Meghalaya, NIRD-NERC, IIBM, Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP), Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), GIZ, NCCD, CAB (RBI).

Mr. Roshnikumar Yambem had got educational qualification of B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering) from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in the year 2004. He had started working as freelance web designer after completion of engineering and later founded the Globizs Web Solutions Pvt Ltd - the most trusted IT company in the state working in the area of IT Service, IT product development, IoT and Robotics.
Beside his enterpreneural journjey, he was actively involved in the development of StartUp eco-system in Manipur. Since 2014 till 2018, he had worked as Project Director for Startup/Enterpreneurship Division at Dynamic Manipur, non-profit organization deals in eco-system development of start up in the region. He had conducted many workshop, seminar & startup event during his tenure at Dynamic Manipur.
He is an advocate of Lean Start up Methodology in the region. He was exposed to Lean Startup Workshop organized by Lean Start up Machine at Hyderabad in the year 2013. And also he had been mentoring many of the young start up entrepreneurs of the region every Second & Fourth Saturday, at his office since 2014.
He was nominated by the State Government for participation in the "Champions of Change" by NITI Aayog in 2017, where the top 400 young entrepreneurs of India were interacted by Hon'ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He also works as Official Mentor for Atal Tinkering Lab across the Schools in the region, under NITI Aayog. Currently he also works as an official Member of the Startup Cell under Government of Manipur.

Sanjeev Sharma

Sanjeev Sarma is the Founder Director of Webx Technologies Private Limited, a Technology Consulting company that he founded in the year 2001. He has over 18+ years of IT experience in delivering enterprise solutions on Web Platforms and Mobile Technologies.

A post graduate in Computer Applications, Sanjeev has worked for multinational companies like ZAP Infotech and IBM Global Services and then decided to start his own software firm “Webx” in the year 2001 and later in 2009 it became private limited. Sanjeev also represents North East Information Technology Association (NEITA) as a Chairman.

At Webx, Sanjeev is working at consulting, architecture and development of enterprise solutions on the latest web technologies. His Award Winning Solutions are running in various corporates and Govt. Departments. He was acknowledged as “Technology Hero” by Microsoft Corporation for the online ticketing system implemented way back in the year 2004 for Assam State Transport Corporation.
