Nungshiba Handicrafts is involved in the manufacturing of fabric Dolls from textile waste.. Their tribal dolls have garnered a lot of love nationally and internationally too. They have clients from USA, Japan, Ireland, Dominican Republic and Germany .

Start-up Idea

Nungshiba Handicrafts has been operational since 2014. It is an all-girls team from all strata of society that makes beautiful tribal dolls, handmade accessories and gift items. The raw material includes fabric leftovers and textile scraps generated by clothing manufacturing units.

Over the years, Nungshiba Handicrafts have conducted and participated in several pieces of training while also hosting other women entrepreneurs & SHG’s to exchange ideas and expertise. Nungshiba Handicrafts is an inclusive workforce for the specially-abled too. The initiative has been very successful in empowering differently-abled women and school dropouts by providing employment and in turn leading towards their empowerment. Their tribal dolls have garnered a lot of love nationally and internationally too. They have clients from USA, Japan, Ireland, Dominican Republic and Germany to name a few. They supply to over 6 retail stores and are excited to be branching out further with more collaborations in the months to come.
